Ladoga, Sept 25 – Citizens of this community were shocked to learn of the death of Mrs. Ella Havens, who passed away suddenly at her home on west Main Street this morning at 6 o’clock. Death being due to a paralytic stroke. The deceased was born in Logan County Ohio Oct 3, 1863 and was united in marriage to AL Havens Jan 20, 1887. Mr. Havens preceded his wife in death seven years ago. She is survived by three sons, C. Beemer Havens of Greencastle, James Havens of Bloomington and George Havens of Ladoga who resides with his mother. Four grandchildren also survive and one sister, Mrs. ST Wetherill of West Mansfield, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the home. Mrs. Havens has resided in Ladoga during her entire married life. She was a member of the Methodist Church and one of the highly respected citizens of this place. - kbz

Mrs. Ella Havens, 65, died suddenly early Wednesday at her home here of paralysis. She was born in Logan County Ohio and married in 1887 to AL Havens who died seven years ago. Three sons and a sister survive. Funeral services will be held at the home Friday afternoon. - kbz
